All seems well, and Alita has taken to music rather than battle. In the background however, a previously defeated enemy, Zapan, has had his body resurrected and equipped with Alita's former Berserker body by the here-introduced series antagonist, Mad-scientist Desty Nova. Zapan now seeks revenge, and has the power to destroy anything in his path.
