The cover by Jackson Butch Guice features the likeness of Christian music singer Amy Grant, which was used without her permission. Her management sued Marvel Comics saying the cover associated her with witchcraft. An out-of-court settlement was reached in 1991 where Marvel did not have to admit to any wrongdoing.
