Maus: A Survivor's Tale is a graphic novel by Art Spiegelman originally serialized in Raw magazine (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2). It is a biographical work that deals with his fathers life as a Jew during the Nazi occupation of Poland and his struggle to survive the Holocaust. It also depicts the authors strained relationship with his father and contains an earlier piece of work that dealt with his relationship to his mother.
Winner of the 1992 Pulitzer Prize Special Award in Letters.
